Ammon News - His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II met with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Barham Salih on Wednesday, according to a royal court statement.

During the meeting, held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Crown Prince congratulated Salih on his election last year as High Commissioner for Refugees, wishing him success during his term.

The meeting covered ways to strengthen cooperation between Jordan and the UNHCR, in order to ensure the continued provision of services to refugees.

Discussions also addressed the importance of the international community shouldering its responsibilities towards countries hosting refugees, to enable them to continue providing vital assistance and services to these refugee communities.

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan, Minister of Investment Tareq Abu Ghazaleh, and Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain attended the meeting.
