Olwan was among the players who finished behind Norway's Erling Haaland, who topped the list of international goalscorers in 2025 after scoring 17 goals in 9 international matches, cementing his status as the world's leading international goalscorer that year.
FIFA data indicated that Haaland finished the year ahead of Yemen's Nasser Al-Ghawashi, as well as Algeria's Mohamed Amoura and Jordan's Ali Alwan, who each scored 11 goals.
Ali Olwan's inclusion in this global list reflects his outstanding attacking performance with the national team during 2025 and his significant contribution to the positive results achieved by the Jordanian team on the international stage.
