Audit Bureau: 17,286 traffic violations recorded for government vehicles

Ammon News - The Audit Bureau revealed that 17,286 traffic violations were recorded against vehicles belonging to 90 entities under oversight.

In its 2024 annual report, the Bureau reported that the most frequent violations were driving without a movement permit (15,200), driving outside official working hours (1,181), speeding (485), and driving without an open movement permit (420).

The report also documented 82 cases of tampering with electronic tracking devices on vehicles. These violations were concentrated in three government entities, representing 65% of the total recorded violations.

These three entities were the Ministry of Local Administration (5,218 violations), the Ministry of Health (3,049), and the Ministry of Education (2,885).
