Ammon News - Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smirat and Secretary General of the Ministry of Government Communication Dr. Zaid Nawaiseh are set to meet with media representatives on Tuesday at the Ministry of Government Communication to discuss “Government Technology.”

The meeting will review Jordan’s performance in the 2020 Government Technology Maturity Index (GTMI) issued by the World Bank Group, shedding light on the main indicators and figures achieved by the Kingdom and reflecting the progress made in digital government transformation.

The ministry invited journalists and staff of licensed media and press institutions wishing to attend to arrive at the ministry’s headquarters at least 20 minutes before the meeting and to present official documentation proving their affiliation with a media outlet.
