Nashama shine at Arab Cup 2025, finish runners-up after tough final against Morocco

Ammon News - The national football team, the "Nashama," delivered an outstanding performance at the 2025 Arab Cup, finishing as runners-up following a hard-fought final against brotherly rivals Morocco. The match was held in Doha on Thursday evening.

The final was attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, His Royal Highness Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, Her Royal Highness Princess Salma bint Abdullah II, and His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Football Association, along with several members of the Royal Family and large numbers of Jordanian fans. Their presence reflected the strong support enjoyed by the Nashama.

Jordan’s performance throughout the tournament was particularly impressive, as the players demonstrated strong team spirit and high tactical discipline in all their matches.

Reaching the final of the 2025 Arab Cup marks a historic achievement for Jordanian football, highlighting the national team’s significant technical development. The accomplishment provides a major morale boost for the players as they prepare for upcoming challenges, foremost among them the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
