Ammon News - The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) declared a moderate state of emergency starting Monday evening to deal with the weather system affecting the Kingdom.

GAM spokesperson Nasser Al-Rahamneh confirmed the readiness of its field teams to respond to any reports. He urged citizens to contact the unified call center at 102 or 117180 if they observe any issues.

The municipality also urged the public to avoid low-lying areas and flood-prone valleys, and to refrain from discarding waste or debris improperly to ensure the drainage network remains effective.
