Ammon News - Israel will open the Rafah Crossing for Gazans to leave for Egypt in the coming days. This was announced on Wednesday morning by the Gaza Border Police Unit.
The decision was made in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and with the approval of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who recently blocked the move in light of the delay in returning the abductees, according to Ynet newspaper.
The statement from the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories stated that "the exit of residents through the Rafah Crossing will be possible in coordination with Egypt, after security approval by Israel and under the supervision of the European Union delegation, similar to the mechanism that was activated in January 2025."
It was also stated that the entry of residents from Egypt into the Gaza Strip will not be approved for the time being.
