Ammon News - The national football team kicks off its Arab Cup campaign on Wednesday night, when the Nashama square off with the United Arab Emirates at 8 p.m. at Al Bayt Stadium in Doha.
The national team seeks to achieve victory and secure the top spot in Group C, after the draw between the Egyptian and Kuwaiti teams on Tuesday, as the national team's technical director confirmed that the Nashama aspire to achieve a good and satisfactory performance.
The national team held its final training session on Tuesday evening under the leadership of coach Jamal Sellami, who considers the team's presence in Qatar to participate in the Arab Cup an important step in preparing the team for the World Cup.
The Nashama continue group play against Kuwait at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, before wrapping up the first round in a marquee meeting with Egypt at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9.
