Ammon News - The Public Security Directorate (PSD) called on the public to stay vigilant as unstable weather is expected to move in this evening. Forecasts point to thunderstorms, bursts of heavy rain, and possible hail, particularly across western parts of the Kingdom.

The PSD cautioned that blowing dust in desert areas and thick fog over high mountain regions and parts of the plains may significantly reduce visibility. They also noted an increased risk of flash floods in valleys and low-lying zones, urging people to keep a safe distance from streambeds and areas prone to water buildup.

Drivers were advised to be especially careful on the roads, as early rainfall can create a slick surface that increases the chance of skidding.

The Directorate encouraged citizens to contact the unified emergency number (911) whenever assistance is needed or to report any emergencies.
