Mild, Pleasant Autumn Weather Continues Through Friday

Ammon News - Autumn weather continues to dominate on Tuesday, bringing pleasant conditions across most regions and milder temperatures in the valley areas, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Clouds are expected at different altitudes, more noticeably in the east, along with a slight chance of brief, light showers in limited eastern areas. Winds will be moderate from the southeast, picking up at times and stirring dust in desert regions.

The Jordan Meteorological Department forecast notes a slight rise in temperatures on Wednesday. Weather will remain pleasantly autumnal over higher elevations and mild in other regions, with medium-level clouds appearing, especially toward the east. Southeasterly winds will stay moderate, becoming active periodically and causing dust in open areas.

Another modest increase in temperatures is expected on Thursday, bringing generally mild conditions under moderate southeasterly winds. This trend continues into Friday, which is also expected to feature mild weather and similar wind patterns.

Today’s temperatures are forecast at 22 C–11 C in East Amman and 20 C–9 C in West Amman, while the northern highlands are expected to record 17 C–10 C and the Sharah highlands 19 C–8 C. Desert regions will see 24 C–9 C and the plains 21 C–11 C.

In the northern valley, temperatures reach 28 C–18 C, rising to 29 C–20 C in the southern valley. The Dead Sea will record 28 C–19 C, with Aqaba at 29 C–18 C.
