About JD1.5M paid in loans, scholarships to public university students-Ministry

Ammon News - The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the completion of the final phase of disbursing payments for scholarship and loan recipients for the summer semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, totaling approximately JD1.5 million.

In a statement issued Thursday, the ministry said the disbursement process covers all eligible students under the scholarship program for students from the Kingdom's northern and central regions enrolled at southern universities.

On the program's scope, the statement said the beneficiaries are students at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, Tafila Technical University, the University of Jordan/Aqaba Branch, and Al-Balqa Applied University/Aqaba and Shobak Colleges.

The ministry added that students can receive their payments using their university ID or national ID card at Cairo Amman Bank branches, starting next Tuesday, November 11.
