Ammon News - Minister of Government Communication and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani said that Amman’s selection as the Arab Youth Capital and the Arab Digital Capital highlights Jordan’s leading role in promoting innovation and digital transformation and its belief that investing in human capital is key to shaping the future.
Opening the "Arab Youth Innovation and Technology Summit 2025," organized by the Knights of Change Foundation under the patronage of the League of Arab States, Momani said the event brings together creative minds to empower youth and enhance their skills and innovations.
He noted that the summit supports the government’s efforts to advance digital media, promote transparency, and build a knowledge-based society capable of participating in decision-making.
Momani added that innovation and digital transformation are central pillars of the Economic Modernization Vision, which aims to drive economic growth and enhance the quality of life through sustainability, youth empowerment, and the creation of an enabling environment for entrepreneurship and technical skill development.
He stated that hosting the summit in Amman reaffirms Jordan’s commitment to empowering youth to shape their future and lead change in technology and entrepreneurship, thereby contributing to the digital and knowledge economies in Jordan and the wider Arab region.
Momani expressed hope that the conference would strengthen Arab cooperation in innovation, knowledge, and digitization and inspire youth to play an active role in building the future.
