Warm Autumn Afternoons, Mild Evenings to Continue Through Friday

Ammon News - Comfortable autumn air will continue to define the country’s weather this week, with temperatures hovering near seasonal norms and light winds drifting through most regions, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

On Tuesday, a slight rise in temperatures will bring pleasantly warm days and mild evenings, with high clouds visible across the sky. Light southeasterly breezes will turn northwesterly by midday.

Wednesday and Thursday will offer steady, settled conditions, with moderate temperatures prevailing nationwide and relatively warm weather expected in Aqaba. Northeasterly winds will remain light to moderate.

By Friday, temperatures will dip slightly, settling back around seasonal averages. The day will bring clear, mild conditions across most areas, with light northeasterly to northwesterly winds maintaining the calm autumn feel.

Temperature readings for Tuesday show highs and lows of 29 and 17 degrees Celsius in East Amman, 27 and 15 in West Amman, 25 and 14 in the northern highlands, and 26 and 13 in the Sharah highlands.

In desert areas, temperatures will range between 32 and 16 degrees, while the plains are expected to record 29 and 17 degrees. The northern Jordan Valley will see 34 and 19 degrees, compared to 34 and 24 degrees in the southern Jordan Valley.

Around the Dead Sea, temperatures will reach 34 and 23 degrees, and 36 and 21 degrees in Aqaba.
