Autumn Weather to Prevail Until Thursday

Ammon News - Temperatures are forecast to drop slightly on Monday, settling around their seasonal averages, with autumn-like moderate conditions across most regions of the Kingdom. The Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain hot.

Winds will be northwesterly, moderate in speed, and occasionally active, raising dust especially in desert areas, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

Another slight decline is expected for Tuesday, with autumn weather continuing across most regions and relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Low-altitude clouds are expected, with northwesterly winds moderate to active at times and dusty in desert areas.

On Wednesday, a further slight drop in temperatures is expected. Autumn-like pleasant conditions will prevail over the high mountain areas, while most other regions will remain moderately warm.

The Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will continue to be hot. Some low-altitude clouds are likely, with northwesterly winds moderate, occasionally becoming active.

On Monday, temperatures are expected to reach highs of 30 C and lows of 16 C in eastern Amman, and 28 C and 14 C in western Amman. In the northern highlands, readings will range between 27 C and 14 C, while the Sharah highlands will record 26 C and 13 C.

Desert regions will reach 33 C and 17 C, and the plains 30 C and 16 C. The northern Jordan Valley will record 37 C and 21 C, the southern Jordan Valley 39 C and 24 C, the Dead Sea 38 C and 23 C, and Aqaba 37 C and 23 C.
