Ammon News - Secretary-General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) revealed that 35 trucks loaded with food aid crossed in the besieged Gaza Strip on Wednesday as part of Jordanian relief efforts.
35 trucks out of 65 had crossed, and their cargo was distributed directly in the northern Gaza Strip, Shibli told Al-Mamlaka, noting that ongoing coordination efforts to ensure the entry of the remaining trucks whose passage had been obstructed by the occupation.
Also, Shibli explained that 255 trucks have entered the Gaza Strip over the past few days, as part of a continuing series of convoys being coordinated with local and international partners.
Shibli affirmed that Jordanian relief efforts to provide relief to the Gaza Strip have not ceased since the outbreak of the war, noting that the number of Jordanian convoys that have arrived in the Strip to date has reached 182, including more than 8,022 trucks loaded with food and medical aid.
The JHCO , in cooperation with the Jordanian Armed Forces/ Arab Army (JAF), dispatched aid via airdrops, land convoys, and field hospitals to support the medical sector in Gaza, he explained.
