02-06-2025 11:01 AM

Ammon News - The Bridges Security Directorate has announced a temporary change to the operating hours of the King Hussein Bridge during the Eid Al-Adha holiday period, coinciding with the return of pilgrims.

The adjustment is aimed at facilitating passenger flow and ensuring smoother border crossings during the busy travel season.

The revised schedule will apply to both arrivals and departures, with the directorate publishing a detailed timetable outlining the adjusted working hours throughout the holiday.

Normal operations are scheduled to resume on Sunday, June 15, when travel through the bridge will follow the regular timetable from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Bridges Security Directorate called on all travelers to comply with the updated schedule and to stay informed through official communication channels. The directive emphasized that adherence to the revised hours will support safety and help streamline travel procedures during the high-traffic period. Petra
