Royal Tank Museum to celebrate Independence Day with cultural events

Ammon News - The Royal Tank Museum has announced that it will be offering free admission to visitors on Sunday, May 25, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, in honor of Jordan’s 79th Independence Day. The celebration will feature a wide range of cultural events and military demonstrations.

The day’s activities will include an exhibition highlighting the history of Jordan’s independence, along with interactive experiences for children and families. Visitors can enjoy live performances by the Jordanian Armed Forces’ band from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM inside the museum.

In the outdoor areas, there will be a Taekwondo demonstration by the Military Sports Union and a performance by the Royal Guard / Silent Infantry. A special play area will also be set up for children to enjoy from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

On the tank track, the day’s highlights will include a performance by the Public Security Department's musical band, a free-fall parachute jump by special operations troops, and a live display of tanks and armored vehicles from the era of independence and beyond.

The event will also feature horseback and camel riding exhibitions, a performance by Jordanian singer Saad Abu Tayeh, and traditional folk performances, running from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

This event is part of the museum’s effort to honor Jordan’s military heritage and to instill a deeper sense of national pride and unity among visitors of all ages. Petra
