Ammon News - The Northern Military Zone thwarted on Tuesday morning an infiltration attempt on one of its border crossings, within its area of ​​responsibility, a responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)- Arab Army announced.

Five individuals were spotted attempting to cross the border illegally, the rules of engagement were applied, and they were arrested and transferred to the relevant authorities, the source explained.

The source affirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army - continue to perform their national duty with full competence and efficiency, and are harnessing all their capabilities and potential to counter infiltration and smuggling attempts, in order to preserve the Kingdom's security and stability.
