Ammon News - Traffic lights were out in parts of Amman on Wednesday, including Radio and Television Street, causing severe traffic congestion.

Traffic Department Operations Officer First Lieutenant Musab Al-Marayat said that a power outage occurred Wednesday morning at several traffic lights in Amman, necessitating immediate intervention by security personnel to regulate traffic.

He told Amen FM that specialized teams are actively working to fix the outage and restore the stopped lights back up and running as soon as possible.

Work is underway to ensure smooth traffic flow until repairs are completed and the traffic lightsreturn to normal operation, he added.
