Hot, dry and dusty weather across most regions on Wednesday

Ammon News - Temperatures are expected to rise slightly on Wednesday, reaching approximately 10-11 degrees above the seasonal average, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

The weather will be generally dry, dusty, and hot, with medium to high-altitude clouds appearing throughout the day. Southwesterly winds will be active, with occasional strong gusts.

On Thursday, a drop in temperatures is forecast, with relatively hot weather expected in most regions and moderate conditions over the highlands and plains. Medium to high-altitude clouds will persist, and northwesterly winds will be moderate to active at times, stirring up dust in the Badia areas.

Another temperature drop is expected on Friday, bringing moderate weather to most regions and relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will remain northwesterly and moderate, occasionally becoming active.

The cooling trend will continue into Saturday, with most areas experiencing moderate weather and warmer conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly and occasionally active.

Northern highlands: 30C – 17C

Southern Jordan Valley: 42C – 23C
Dead Sea: 41C – 22C
Gulf of Aqaba: 40C – 23C. Petra
