Ammon News - The Jordanian Writers Union held on Sunday a specialized economic symposium on Sunday titled "Trump's Policies and Their Direct Impact on the Jordanian Economy and Proposals for Confronting It."
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Jawad Anani, and moderated by the union's president and poet, Alian Al-Adwan. The symposium was attended by a select group of thinkers, economists, and those interested in public affairs.
During the lecture, Anani discussed the most prominent economic policies adopted by former U.S. President Donald Trump, particularly those related to international trade, taxation, and economic sanctions against certain countries.
For his part, Adwan, in his welcoming remarks, emphasized the importance of linking cultural and economic awareness, noting that the role of the intellectual is not limited to the literary aspect alone, but extends to understanding the economic and political variables that impact society's reality and future.
