Ammon News - The House of Arabic Poetry at the Jordanian Writers Association honored poets Dr. Maha Al-Atoum and Dr. Hikmat Al-Nawaiseh on Saturday evening at the association's headquarters in Amman.

The event was organized by the House of Arabic Poetry to mark the launch of its 2025 cultural season.

Head of the Jordanian Writers Association, Mwaffaq Mahaddien, said that poetry draws attention to people's daily lives and speaks to their pain, suffering, tragedies, ambitions, and dreams. Poets are the ones who tell people's stories and struggles, carrying their words as poetry to all spaces.
