Ammon News - The number of Jordanians who have activated their digital ID via "Sanad" app to date has reached 1,614,772, according to the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.

Services via Sanad app are being updated continuously, the Ministry told Al-Mamlaka, noting that there is a growing demand for activating the digital ID via Sanad, which provides multiple government services across multiple government agencies.

The government launched Sanad app in February 2020 as part of Executive Package 5 of the government's economic program, to support electronic services and improve the business environment, while several updates were subsequently made to the app to address the challenges it encountered during its initial launch.

Also, the government aims to have 3.5 million active digital IDs and complete the automation of all government services by 2025, in accordance with the public sector modernization plan it launched earlier.
