His Majesty expressed his happiness with the launch of the Global Disability Summit, organized by Jordan and Germany in partnership with the International Disability Alliance, emphasizing that the summit reflects both countries' shared commitment to enhancing the rights of people with disabilities, and looking forward to building on its outcomes.
The meeting also addressed future cooperation in several sectors, such as industry, trade, technology, and energy.
His Majesty praised Germany's support for Jordan in technical education and vocational training, as well as its assistance in modernizing the public sector.
Regarding the humanitarian situation in Gaza, His Majesty stressed the need to immediately halt the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, calling on the international community to take immediate action to alleviate the humanitarian tragedy.
His Majesty emphasized the need to restore the ceasefire and resume the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
The meeting also covered the dangerous escalation in the West Bank, with His Majesty noting that the displacement of Palestinians from their homes in the West Bank and Gaza poses a threat to regional stability.
He explained that attacks on Islamic and Christian sanctities in Jerusalem increase tensions and undermine the prospects for peace, pointing out that the only path to peace in the region is through a two-state solution that guarantees security and peace for all parties.
His Majesty stressed the importance of supporting Syria's efforts to maintain its security and stability, emphasizing that Syria's stability is an integral part of the stability of the entire region.
His Majesty expressed his gratitude to Germany for its continued support to Jordan in providing essential services to Syrian refugees.
