Jordan's Oil Bill Increases by 19.9% in January

Ammon News - Data from the Department of Statistics' foreign trade report, monitored by (Petra), showed a rise in the value of the Kingdom's imports of crude oil, its derivatives, and mineral oils in January, reaching 307 million dinars, compared to 256 million dinars in the same month last year.

Regarding the main derivatives imported in January, crude oil ("petroleum") topped the list of petroleum derivatives imports with a value of 127 million dinars, followed by fuel and mineral oils at 99 million dinars. Imports of petroleum spirits ("gasoline") amounted to about 40 million dinars, and diesel ("solar") reached approximately 38 million dinars, in addition to lubricating oils valued at 3 million dinars.
