Ammon News - Temperatures will drop "significantly" on Saturday, as pleasant weather is set to prevail in most areas and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Starting at noon, the Kingdom is tipped to be affected by an atmospheric instability, as occasional showers of rain are expected in the Kingdom's various areas for limited periods, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
In the afternoon, showers are expected to be often heavy in Jordan's southeastern areas, accompanied by thunder and hail.
The department warns in its report of reduced horizontal visibility due to dust, especially on the Badia regions and highways, adding that valleys and low-lying areas could see flash floods and hail in the Kingdom's southeastern regions.
On Sunday, mercury will drop "slightly" and the weather will be pleasant in most areas and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Also today, temperatures in the capital Amman will hit a 22-12 degrees Celsius, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 30 degrees Celsius during the day, sliding to 18 degrees Celsius at night. Petra
