Occupation closes Rafah crossing, prevents patients from leaving Gaza

18-03-2025 12:32 PM

Ammon News - The Israeli occupation authorities closed Rafah border crossing on Tuesday and prevented the travel of patients from the Gaza Strip, according to the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation.

The Israeli decision came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the resumption of the war on the Gaza Strip at dawn on Tuesday.

Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz instructed the Israeli army to take forceful action against Hamas in Gaza.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health indicated that Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since the morning hours have left more than 330 dead, wounded, and missing.

The Israeli occupation authorities continue to close Karam Abu Salem and Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossings, located north and south of the Gaza Strip, amid a complete halt to the entry of aid.
