Ammon News - Robin van Persie has been appointed Feyenoord head coach on a contract through to the summer of 2027.
The Athletic previously reported that the 41-year-old was on the verge of being appointed the Dutch side’s new head coach.
The former Arsenal and Manchester United striker will be assisted by Rene Hake, who spent the first part of the 2024-25 season as assistant coach to Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
Van Persie, who scored 46 goals and provided 16 assists as a player for Feyenoord across two spells, rejoins the Rotterdam-based club from Eredivisie rivals Heerenveen, appointed in July 2024 as his first head coach role. NYT
