Ammon News - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi will meet in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Friday, in an informal fraternal meeting, at the invitation of Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi Crown Prince.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, an official source stated that, at the invitation of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the leaders of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt will meet in Riyadh on Friday, February 21, 2025, for an informal brotherly gathering.

This meeting is part of the private friendly gatherings that have been regularly held for many years between the leaders of the GCC states, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Arab Republic of Egypt, reflecting the strong brotherly ties between the leaders, which contribute to enhancing cooperation and coordination among the GCC states, Jordan, and Egypt, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Joint Arab action and any relevant decisions will be included in the agenda of the upcoming Extraordinary Arab Summit, which will be held in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
