Ammon News - Head of the Syndicate of Fuel (SOF) Nahar Seidat on Thursday confirmed that the demand for domestic gas has increased to reach about 200,000 cylinders, coinciding with the onset of the current low pressure system.

The daily demand for household gas cylinders reached 150,000 cylinders on Tuesday, Seidat added.

He also stressed the availability of a safe stock of petroleum derivatives that covers the Kingdom's needs, in addition to the stock of stations and the stock of marketing companies.

The annual consumption of kerosene is estimated at approximately 140 million liters, Seidat noted.
