Foreign Minister holds extensive talks with Uzbek counterpart

Ammon News - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi held extensive talks on Sunday with Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.

The talks dealt with ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and developments in the region, during his first visit to the Kingdom.

Safadi and Saidov signed two agreements, the first regarding a cooperation program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Republic of Uzbekistan for the years 2025-2027, and the second related to visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports in the two friendly countries.
