Ammon News - The first Royal Jordanian Airlines flight will take off to Damascus International Airport on Friday at 7:20 am.
This flight comes in conjunction with the decision of the Ministry of Interior to allow Jordanian citizens to travel by air from the airports of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the international airports of Damascus and Aleppo, starting from the date of the start of flights, the Royal Jordanian said.
The Royal Jordanian explained that it will operate 4 flights per week from Queen Alia International Airport to Damascus Airport, adding that Royal Jordanian is one of the first airlines to resume direct flights to Damascus.
Captain Haitham Misto, the Chief Commissioner of the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), said that the Commission is studying a new request from another Jordanian airline to operate flights to Damascus International Airport, after Royal Jordanian Airlines was previously allowed to operate its flights.
