Ammon News - In this era where technology has taken over almost everything, AI is soon expected to rule almost all industries. While AI has been helping students and job seekers in the field of employment, an individual using the "Get Employed" forum revealed how he created an AI bot to manage his application process.
The man took AI innovation to a whole new level by making a self-built AI and it took over the process of applying for jobs all while he was asleep.
Tailoring to his CV, the AI automatically submitted work applications to almost 1,000 jobs and he secured 50 interview opportunities. He wrote, "It is incredibly effective at passing through automated screening systems. By generating tailored applications, my boat significantly increased my chances of being noticed by both AI and human recruiters."
His revelation has highlighted the efficiency of AI and job seekers are now excited and eager to use artificial intelligence. However, this has also reflected negative implications for people as the personal process is automated. He also noted that "As we seek to optimise the selection process, we risk losing the human element that often makes a difference in a work environment."
One user wrote, "As we seek to optimize the selection process, we risk losing the human element that often makes a difference in a work environment.” Another user said, " This is brilliant! You’ve truly hacked the job market.” One shared his concern stating, " What happens when everyone starts doing this? Will it make job hunting even harder?”
Following the backlash, the Reddit user explained that he only conducted an experiment out of curiosity and added that he does not recommend the process of using AI to apply for jobs.
Many argue that the AI automation process used by both employers and job seekers is a huge risk in the job market as job seekers might be rejected based on a minor qualification that is missing from their resume.
