Ammon News - Captain Haitham Misto, Chief Commissioner of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), said that the technical committee returning from Damascus is studying the results reached by the various technical teams, to make a decision regarding the resumption of Jordanian flights to Damascus International Airport.

Misto stressed Jordan's interest in the return of civil aviation to Syria as soon as possible, if all technical and logistical requirements that guarantee the security and safety of international aviation to Damascus are completed.

Last week, the CARC sent a technical committee to Damascus International Airport to conduct a technical assessment of the airport, in order to resume Jordanian flights to Damascus.
