Ammon News - Secretary-General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), Hussein Shibli, confirmed that the total support provided to the Gaza Strip from 2002 until October 7, 2023, reached $200 million in various aid, while the total support until the beginning of 2025 amounted to $248 million.
During a meeting with the Lower House's Palestine Committee, on Sunday, headed by its chairman, MP Suleiman Al-Saud, Shibli added that the total aid that reached the West Bank from 2002 until 2025 reached nearly $18 million.
Shibli explained that all the aid entering the Gaza Strip from various countries ranges between 7 to 10 trucks per day, while Jordan alone enters between 120 to 150 trucks per week.
Jordan was able to bring in two million liters of drinking water to the Gaza Strip after the events of October 7, 53 planes to El-Arish Airport, 2,191 tons of flour, 124 airdrops, 266 airdrops in cooperation with sisterly and friendly countries, 138 aid convoys with a total of 4,919 trucks, and the installation of 245 prosthetic limbs, Shibli said.
