Ammon News - The Israeli occupation authorities have extended the detention of Jordanian doctor Abdullah Al-Balawi until next Sunday, according to what his brother announced.

The occupation authorities had previously extended Al-Balawi's detention until Wednesday, preventing him from meeting his lawyer and without revealing the circumstances of his detention.

The occupation forces arrested Al-Balawi on December 19, while he was crossing the King Hussein Bridge on his way to the Gaza Strip as part of a medical relief campaign affiliated with the "PANZMA" organization, which operates with official approval from the occupation authorities through accredited parties.
