Ammon News - At least 13 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured early this morning in Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple areas in the northern and southern regions of the Gaza Strip.

According to local reports, Israeli warplanes struck a makeshift tent sheltering displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. The attack claimed the lives of 11 people, including women and children, and left 15 others with varying degrees of injuries.

In another incident, two brothers were killed in an Israeli airstrike in northern Gaza. Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelled the western areas of Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 45,553 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 108,379 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
