Queen: As we usher in the New Year, we pray for peaceful

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah on Monday shared a family photo on her official Instagram account.

As we usher in the New Year, we pray for peaceful, more compassionate days ahead," the Queen wrote.

It is noteworthy that this photo was taken during Jordan's celebrations of the Silver Jubilee and the assumption of His Majesty the King's constitutional powers last June.

The photo shows His Majesty King Abdullah II with Her Majesty Queen Rania, Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II, Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, Princess Iman Bint Abdullah, her husband Mr. Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, Princess Salma Bint Abdullah and Prince Hashem Bin Abdullah.
