Ammon News - The General Command of the Syrian Army and Armed Forces announced, on Sunday evening, in an official statement issued by the Ministry of Defense, new promotions among officers, within the framework of the "process of developing and modernizing the Syrian Army and Armed Forces."

A notable inclusion in the promotions list is the Jordanian Abdul Rahman Hussein Al-Khatib, also known as (Abu Hussein Al-Urduni), who has been elevated to the rank of brigadier general in the Syrian army.

The text of the statement, which carried Resolution No. (8), stated that these promotions come in order to achieve the highest standards of efficiency and organization, and in continuation of the spirit of commitment and dedication to serving religion and country.
