Ammon News - President of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Bassam Al-Maharmeh, reveled that 20% of the cyber incidents that Jordan is exposed to are attempts to hack confidential information and spy from several parties.
During the Lower House finance committee's discussion of the 2025 budget law on Sunday, Al-Maharmeh said that Jordan is exposed to 1,600 cyber incidents every 3 months, 20% of which are related to attempts to hack confidential information and spy from several parties, and 65% are for material interests benefit or gain illegally.
He stressed that the center is capable of discovering any loopholes or attempts and protecting our institutions, including them, but the wars of the future are concerned with cyber security.
