3 Palestinians injured during large-scale military raid on al-Amari camp

25-12-2024 01:51 PM

Ammon News - Three Palestinians were injured on Wednesday after the Israeli occupation forces raided the al-Amari camp, south of Ramallah.

The Red Crescent Society reported that its crews dealt with a young man being shot in the foot with live ammunition, and two other injuries, one of which was run over by a military jeep, and the other was assaulted.

Local sources said that the occupation forces assaulted a number of journalists present in the camp, and fired sound bombs and toxic gas at them in an attempt to prevent them from covering the attack.

The occupation forces launched a large-scale arrest campaign in the camp, most of whom were from the Gaza Strip and detained Palestine TV driver Shadi Kifaya.

Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces brought the detainee Firas Jaber to the camp while he was handcuffed and used him as a human shield.

The sources added that the occupation forces closed the entrance to the camp, carried out a campaign of raids and searches of several homes and seized a vehicle.
