Ammon News - Amman November 6, 2024 the photographic exhibition "Italy and Jordan: 75 years of friendship and cooperation" was inaugurated at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts. The exhibition celebrates the 75 years of Italy- Jordan diplomatic relations, tracing back some of the most significant exchanges between the two Countries since 1949.
The exhibition comprises three parts: a first section dedicated to institutional meetings and exchanges of visits between Heads of State and Government, a second section dedicated to lifestyle and culture and a third dedicated to natural landscapes and monuments. The pictures displayed have been sourced from the archives of news agencies both in Italy and Jordan and represent a journey through the 75 years since diplomatic relations between the two countries have been established.
Italian Ambassador Luciano Pezzotti has remarked: "It is a distinct honor and privilege to announce the opening of this exhibition, which stands as a testament to the enduring friendship and 75 years of fruitful cooperation between our two nations. This milestone not only celebrates our shared past but also underscores our commitment to deepening our partnership for many years to come."
The exhibition will be open from the 5th of November until the 18th of November at the Jordan National Gallery, Building 1- Husni Fareez Street, Al-Luwaibdeh and it can be visited free of charge every day except Fridays from 9am to 7pm.
