Ammon News - The foreign ministers of Australia, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and Canada expressed their deep cocern on Sunday about a proposed Israeli law that wants to remove the special rights and protections of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
As per Euronews Agency in Europe, the ministers issued a joint statement urging the Israeli government to uphold its international responsibilities and protect the rights and privileges of UNRWA.
The statement demanded that Israel meet its duty to help ensure that humanitarian aid is delivered quickly, safely, and without obstacles, while also offering essential services to civilians.
It is important to mention that the Israeli laws prohibit Israeli organizations and officials from having any interaction with UNRWA and forbid their presence in the occupied territories.
