The Traffic Department representative, speaking on Public Security Radio on Sunday, stated that traffic teams have been deployed early in the morning to ease congestion at the entrances to the capital and intersections and on main streets. They are ensuring safe access for citizens and addressing any temporary traffic obstructions promptly and efficiently, with no impact or delays.

He urged citizens to stick to their lanes, avoid changing lanes abruptly, and plan their destinations in advance to prevent traffic accidents.

The head of the West Balqa Traffic Department, Major Thamer Bani Yassin, discussed the current traffic situation, noting its smooth flow due to implemented plans. He emphasized that no traffic accidents were reported under the West Balqa Police Directorate until the time of this report.

The External Patrols Department representative stated that all external roads have busy and active traffic with no closures or obstacles.

In relation to the major accidents handled in the last 24 hours, he mentioned that several incidents were addressed. The most significant one involved a cargo truck overturning on the desert road near the Adhruh Bridge in Ma'an en route to Amman. The accident was attributed to a sudden lane change. Traffic disruptions were resolved, obstacles cleared, and normal traffic resumed at the location. A rollover accident on the back road of Aqaba Port was addressed, with the cause being a sudden lane change. Traffic was managed and obstructions were cleared from the main road.

The traffic officials emphasized the importance of checking vehicles and getting them ready for the upcoming Safe Winter campaign, scheduled to start on the second day of the following month.
