Ammon News - The Israeli military stated on Saturday that it conducted specific and aimed attacks on Iran, targeting missile production sites, surface-to-air missile systems, and other air capabilities in various parts of the country in retaliation for an Iranian assault earlier this month.

In a statement, the military reported that our planes came back safely... The retaliatory attack was conducted and the objective was achieved.

It was stated that IAF planes targeted missile production facilities that had produced missiles used by Iran against Israel in the previous year, according to intelligence reports.

It also mentioned that the IDF targeted more Iranian surface-to-air missile systems and air capabilities simultaneously, which were meant to hinder Israel's ability to operate freely in Iran.

The attacks were conducted as a retaliation for recent Iranian strikes against Israel.

The Israeli military stated that Iran launched numerous rockets at Israel in attacks in April and October, while also supporting and controlling terrorist actions through allies in the Middle East against Israel. Additionally, Iran is allegedly destabilizing regional security and the global economy.

In a different announcement, Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari stated that the attacks provided Israel with more flexibility in Iranian airspace.

He cautioned Iran that there would be severe consequences if there was a new increase in tensions.

Hagari warned that if Iran initiates a new round of escalation, they will retaliate. He emphasized that anyone posing a threat to Israel and causing wider tensions in the region will face consequences.

Iran launched over 300 rockets towards Israel in April, followed by approximately 200 in October.
