Ammon News - An Agent from the Royal Department Environmental Protection, responded to a distress call regarding a woman and her daughter, 13 years old, who drowned on the southern beach of Aqaba, 25 meters into the sea.

Amen FM reported on Sunday that the Agent was able to rescue the woman and her daughter while he was performing his official duties on the southern beach in Aqaba with the help of a civilian.

They were pulled to the beach and first aid was administered, until the ambulance and civil defense crews arrived to take the necessary measures.
