Israeli forces kill Palestinian youth during Jenin raid

Ammon News - A young man was killed by Israeli occupation forces' bullets on Tuesday evening in Jenin camp.

The occupation forces surrounded a house in Jenin camp, and fired live bullets and Energa shells at it, which led to the killing of a young man who was inside.

The Ministry of Health stated that the General Authority for Civil Affairs informed it that the young man was identified to be Karim Samer Tawfiq Jabarin, 20, from Jenin.

The occupation detained Jabarin's body.

Israeli occupation forces Tuesday evening raided the Jenin refugee camp and city in the northern occupied West Bank.

She said that the occupation forces, escorting bulldozers, stormed the city and the refugee camp from the direction of the Jalamah checkpoint and Salem military camp after undercover Israeli forces, who sneaked their way into the camp and besieged a house there, were detected.

She added that sounds of explosions could be heard in the camp as military drones hovered above it.

Meanwhile, Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that its paramedics provided first aid treatment to a 60-year-old man, who sustained a gunshot injury fired by Israeli soldiers in the camp before evacuating him to a hospital.

With the killing of Jabarin, the death toll in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, has risen to 756, including 165 children, in addition to more than 6,250 citizens being injured with varying degrees of severity, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
