Ammon News - The commander of the Jordanian field hospital in southern Gaza, Colonel Issam Manasir, said that in continuation of the royal directives to support the people in Gaza, represented by sending field hospitals to the Strip, airdrops and land convoys, His Majesty ordered the launch of the "Restore Hope" program, represented by sending two mobile clinics to the Gaza Strip to install artificial limbs, where the artificial limb is installed within a maximum period of one hour, while the patient needs several months of follow-ups under normal circumstances to install the limb.

The service will start operating on Tuesday, in several stages, and will provide artificial limbs to 14,000 injured people, noting that the Jordanian field hospital has received 183,000 cases since the beginning of its mission, while the field hospital in southern Gaza has currently received 84,000 cases, and performed 910 major operations and 5,220 minor ones, noting that all operations are qualitative and sensitive, Manasir confirmed.

During the armed forces' press conference after the convoy arrived in Khan Yunis, Manasir pointed out that the two clinics are equipped with the necessary medical equipment and supplies to support amputees, and were launched under royal directives about three weeks ago to support the residents affected by the ongoing war there.
