Ammon News - The Israeli occupation forces announced Sunday the closure of all land crossings with Jordan, after the King Hussein Bridge operation, for security reasons and until further notice.
The media spokesperson for the Jordanian Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced the closure of the King Hussein Bridge to travel after its closure from the other side until further notice, calling on bridge users to abide by and follow the media about any change in travel, which will be announced first hand.
The Israeli occupation authorities closed the King Hussein Bridge crossing between Jordan and the occupied Palestinian territories in both directions on Sunday, after a Jordanian truck driver opened fire on Israelis at the crossing this morning, killing 3 of them and martyring the driver.
Three Israelis were killed in a shooting operation near the King Hussein Bridge (Allenby) crossing from the Israeli side on the border between Jordan and the occupied territories.
The Hebrew Channel 7 claimed that initial investigations indicate that the perpetrator of the operation is a Jordanian truck driver who arrived towards the joint unloading area, placed a weapon inside the truck, and when he arrived in front of the Israeli workers, he took out the weapon and began shooting.
