Jordan Post releases new commemorative stamp series

Ammon News - Jordan Post has released a new series of commemorative stamps for 2024, titled "King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center." This series will be available for purchase starting Thursday, August 29, 2024.

The King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center is recognized globally as a leading institution for special operations and counter-terrorism training. The release of this stamp series coincides with the 13th Annual Warrior Competition, which runs from August 25 to 29, 2024.

According to a Jordan Post statement, the new series comprises two stamps and a card. Each stamp is priced at 50 piastres, with the card also priced at 50 piastres. The complete set of stamps and card is available for 1.50 Jordanian dinars. Additionally, a first-day cover featuring the full set of stamps affixed is available for 2.00 Jordanian dinars.

The stamps and associated items can be purchased from the Stamp Collectors' Section at Jordan Post's headquarters in Al-Muqableen, next to the Radio and Television Building, or from the following postal offices: Jabal Amman, Al-Weibdeh, Downtown Amman, Abdali, Irbid Central, Madaba Central, Aqaba Central, Jerash Central, Petra, Karak, Ajloun, Salt, Fuheis, and Jerash.
